"This woman is rather hysterical and nervy, was very nervous during the war, draws attention to herself at meetings, has a very shrill artificial laugh which is always trilling out. Rather affected. Wears peculiar arty clothes and has a sort of 1920 hair do. Talked a lot of rubbish during the war - her husband had an awful time with her. Husband has been an excellent informant but is a bit of an old wife, fussy, looks like an indignant rabbit."

Family life inharmonious at least, husband knocks her about. Admitted to CRI and discharged. No diagnosis was given but was depressed, hypochondrial, feared she was going insane, hysterical and hostile to her husband. Agitated."
